Thatringthing is an Internet company designed to help singles meet. TRT works with Book Stores and/or coffee shops in implementing its’ new hello friendly campaign "Just Say Hello" starting immediately.
Since launching in 2000 thatringthing has grown from one member, Ms. Jan Brandy, into an international club. The concept is simple; as Ms. Brandy says "married people wear a ring to indicate to the world that they are taken, so how about a ring to indicate who is available".

The "single signal" is a new trend for making friends :-) no matter what city you’re in, whether visiting or residing, Thatringthing brings single people together.
We work with BookStores like Third Place Books on Bothell way in Lake Forest Park, Powells in Portland and Elliott Bay Book Co in Seattle. Coffee shops like Miracles in Cardiff By The Sea, CA, Friends in Mill Creek WA, and many, many more. Members in Canada use the major bookstore chain Chapter’s (now Indigo) as "Hello Friendly".
We invite everyone who is single to wear the ring, go to participating places and "Just Say Hello".
Look for "Hello friendly" in the window of independent bookstores and coffee shops, where you’ll be met with a "friendly hello". They’re safe and conducive to meeting other single people. When you see someone wearing the logo "Just Say Hello".
