When first arriving to the site, I spied a cute kitten peeking out under
the logo to signify that I had arrived. The site design and special features
were not only easy to use, but also savvy and stylish and full of pet
loving singles.
I immediately filled out my own profile and a profile for each of my beloved
pets, Crowley and Sigil, respectively. The site allows you to choose from
dogs, cats, fish, birds, horses, reptiles, exotic, small animals and the
elusive “other” (here I found tarantulas!). With all the choices,
you are bound to find a few new appealing connections.
Not only did I find a plethora of interesting and engaging member profiles,
but I also found pet related news, the latest pet and dating related events,
and a variety of interesting links. After browsing the site further, I
found myself reading the rants and raves of the founder via the “Blog”,
success stories from those who have found love on the site, and many entertaining
pet and dating related articles.
My favorite feature was the ‘Virtual Kiss’. Once an interest
has been found, be it love, a pet buddy or a possible new friend, send
them a virtual kiss and see where it takes you. Virtual kisses allow members
to flirt and test the waters before making the email commitment. If you
interest returns your kiss, then onward and more! I found the site to
be very active, since three of my virtual kisses were returned within
a couple of hours.
