American Association for Single People The American Association for Single People has launched a new information service for unmarried Americans.  Advice and Resources is now available to all people who visit our website. The purpose of this service is to provide single people with timely and important information that can help aid them in dealing effectively with various areas of life. Finances, legal protections and health matters are among some of the heavier issue areas. We also have lighter fare, such as recreational activities, book releases, volunteer opportunities, and local support groups. In addition to a section for all single people, there are special sections in the Advice & Resources section for solo singles, unmarried couples, single parents, and other interest groups.  As part of this service, we list organizations providing helpful information or services to segments of the unmarried population at our website: www.unmarriedamerica.com. (If you know of any other groups or advice articles which you think we should add to the Advice & Resources service, we welcome your suggestions.) AASP  has become the nation’s leading provider of information and resources for and about unmarried Americans.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life and secure a better future for all single people, whether they are widowed, divorced, or never-married, and whether they live alone, with a partner or roommate, are a single parent, or live in an extended family.
