Colorado Engineer Discovers Cause and Probable Cure for Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Disease and Iincreased Risk of Breast Cancer and Other Cancers
Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes yet unwilling to submit to a lifelong dependence on synthetic drugs, 68 year old Colorado engineer Thomas Smith launched a serious study of medical research reports, disease statistics and food technology literature. Three months later he was fully cured of the disease. He recorded his findings in an extensive report that includes research data that is being kept hidden from the public. His study turned up a wealth of competent research by prominent scientists at many of the worlds leading research institutions including Dr.Walter Willett, chairman of the nutrition program at Harvard School of Public Health; Dr. Henry Blackburn, a professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health; Mary G. Enig PhD, director of Nutritional Sciences Division Enig Associates, Inc; and Dr.William Castelli, director of the Framingham Cardiovascular Institute.
Smith's findings shows that diabetes, arteriosclerosis and obesity are related to the fact that certain artificial foods cause insulin to slowly lose its effectiveness over time. He has found that the hydrogenating and refining of vegetable oils removes their essential ingredients and produces a toxic residue of transfatty acids. This essential fatty acids deficiency and toxic overload seems to interfere with insulin's ability to control blood sugar. The body responds by increasing its insulin output. This causes an unbalance in the good fat/bad fat ratio and clogs the arteries with excess cholesterol.
The resulting arteriosclerosis causes heart failure, stroke, impotence and many other diseases of poor circulation. Which of these diseases shows up first seems to depend upon individual genetic predisposition.Eventually, the increasing ineffectiveness of insulin allows the blood sugar to rise and classic diabetes then manifests. Exclusive of cancer, which is also becoming implicated, these diseases collectively accounted for 41% of the deaths from all causes in 1995 according to statistics published by American Demographics. Approximately half of the American population exhibits one or more of the symptoms of this disease. It is strongly implicated in the refined and hydrogenated fats and oils that have supplanted the natural fats and oils that we all once had in our food chain.
Mr. Smith is available for interviews and talk shows and can be reached at (970) 667-5418, Loveland, Colorado. Syndicated columnist, David Lawrence Dewey has written a special feature column about Mr. Smith and these issues that have been hidden from the American public
Mr. Dewey's website is http://www.dldewey.com The column is entitled "Hydrogenated Oils-Silent Killers".
