Former addict discovers the importance of listening to the inner voice

At the age of 17, Larrein Trudeau, author of SPIRIT KNOWS, was pregnant and a few years later turned to alcohol, valium and librium to escape her reality. SPIRIT KNOWS describes her story of disobedience of the Spirit and the lifetime of consequences that followed.

"It is clear at the age of four, an inner voice is intact to direct children to obey good orderly direction," says Trudeau. "I was in-tune but unaware of the purpose, and too young to understand."

SPIRIT KNOWS reveals the 30 years of self-abuse and addiction Trudeau went through before finally seeking help. "When the inner directive is not followed, an uninspired live ensues," says Trudeau, who was certified as a counselor from the British Columbia Alcohol and Drug Program. She counsels in her spiritual community and is well known in recovery programs

"The wounds of the past can be a source of strength and a lost path can be rediscovered," says Trudeau. "There is nothing more important than the inner voice."
